Charlestown at Scottsburg JV lost 11-25, 8-25 / Varsity lost 11-25, 18-25, 15-25

Coach Nuxoll:  Sometimes there can be small victories even in defeat. Although we lost tonight, our team showed more hustle, effort and pride than I’ve seen in the past few games. We had some good rallies and made some good plays because we were focused and working together. Danielle Miles and Emalee Craven led our offense and also added to our defensive efforts along with Shelby Goedeker and Haley Vincent. Keeley Couch contributed with good serving, and Kiersten James came off the bench to contribute blocks. I hope we can carry this effort into our matches next week.
