The Charlestown Girls Golf team competed against Jeffersonville HS and New Washington at Elk Run Tuesday evening; falling to Jeffersonville 228 to 250 (New Washington did not score).  New Washington did post the outing medalist, as Katlyn Price carded a 44.  The Lady Pirates were led again by Lizzie Hill, who shot a 59, and Andrea McCoy, who shot a 62; while Kylan Burke (63), and McKenna Harbin (66) rounded out the Charlestown team score.

“This is our lowest team scored posted this year.  Lizzie Hill shot her lowest score to lead the Pirates with 59.  Andrea McCoy followed up with a 62.  I am pleased with the consistency of all our golfers scores each match.  All of them have improved over the season”, commented Lady Pirate Head Coach Kim Carroll.  Next match: Thursday, August 31 at Hidden Creek 4pm, against CAI
