The Charlestown Pirate Pride Sports Broadcasting Football crew, in support of the 2016 Touchdowns Against Cancer national program, has pledged to personally donate $5.00 each, every time the Charlestown Pirates score a varsity game time touchdown between September 16^th and October 1^st, 2016 (during contests against Silver Creek, Salem & Corydon).  That’s a $25 combined donation, each time Southern Indiana’s highest scoring high school football team scores a touchdown during the next three games, to St. Jude Children’s Cancer Research, through the Touchdowns Against Cancer program.  For more information about the program, go to www.TouchdownsAgainstCancer.com.  Additionally, Pirate Pride Sports Broadcasting challenges fellow sports broadcasters all around the country, as well as fans and listeners; to make a similar pledge while covering and rooting for their favorite high school football team.
