Lady Pirate Volleyball Finishes Much Improved Season

Charlestown Volleyball (7-22) lost to Silver Creek 3 sets to 0 (15-25, 16-25, 14-25). ¬†From Coach Nuxoll: ¬†“Silver Creek was a tough draw in the first round because they have a well established program. We did not play our best tonight and struggled passing, but the girls did not give up. We were not able to get things going offensively, but Bri Harvey had three kills and Emalee Craven and Danielle Miles each contributed two. Molly Braunecker and Hannah Vincent each had six digs and Chrissa Ledbetter contributed five digs. Danielle Miles had a good passing night. Despite the loss tonight, this is an improved team with a great group of girls. I’m proud of them and look forward to our future.”
