Charlestown Pirate Baseball learned its necessary path to a 2015 Class 3A Sectional 30 title, and that includes an opener versus their rival Dragons.  Sectional 30 will be hosted by North Harrison High School, scheduled for Wednesday, May 27th through Monday, June 1st.  Game #1 pits Silver Creek vs. Charlestown, Game #2 pits Brownstown Central vs. Corydon Central; both games scheduled for Wednesday evening May 27th.  The bottom half of the brackets include a Thursday Game #3 match-up between North Harrison and Madison; and (Game #4) Scottsburg and Salem.  Wednesday’s winners and Thursday’s winners will match-up on Friday evening for the Sectional Semi-Finals.  The Sectional Championship is scheduled for Monday, June 1st at 6:30 pm.  The Pirates dropped the regular season showdown with Silver Creek 4-0, earlier in the month with an uncharacteristic performance at Creek.  All Pirate Baseball Post Season games will be broadcasted live by Pirate Pride Sports at www.CPPSB.com.
