The Charlestown Lady Pirate Basketball team made the short trip east up Indiana 62 Saturday evening for game to of this year’s annual home and away series with the New Washington Lady Mustangs.  Similar to the 82-28 meeting last month, Charlestown routed the host Lady Mustangs again, 75-35.  The win kept Charlestown perfect at 8-0 in preparation of next Wednesday’s game at Floyd Central.  Justice Burdin and Kaitlynn Henning combined for 46 of Charlestown’s points during the win.  Burdin led all scorers with 24 and Henning with 22, right at her per game scoring average.  Shelby Goedeker finished with 9 points and Bri Harvey 8 for the winning cause.
