Lady Pirate Soccer Falls to Corydon 6-0

Tuesday night the Lady Pirates played another tough game with Corydon.  Starting slow, the Lady Pirates eventually got going.  The defense made some mental errors early allowing Corydon to get an early lead.  By halftime the score was 6-0.  The second half saw a spark of life from the Lady Pirate offense and defense but they were not able to find the back of the net, but neither did Corydon.  Gabi Wixon and Sarah Rutkowski worked well with the through ball on one side, allowing four good shots while Tayte Motsinger did her job on the other side of the field, making crosses. “Eventually those through balls and crosses will generate goals. They didn’t tonight, but eventually they will, commented Coach Kimmell.”

Next game: Jeffersonville Thursday at 6.
