COACH BIOGRAPHY:

Amy Pearce is beginning her third year as one of the Varsity cheer coaches at Charlestown High School.  Amy has been involved in cheerleading her entire life.  Amy cheered in the New Albany Floyd County schools from 4th grade at Mt Tabor all the way through her senior year at New Albany High School.  Amy began her coaching career while she was still in high school when she began coaching the Hazelwood Middle School cheer team.  She coached there for four years as the game and competitive cheer coach.  Amy took a hiatus from coaching at that point to get married and have children.  She resumed back to coaching in the summer of 2013 when she started coaching at Clarksville High School.  Amy was the head coach there for two years before being asked to come join the coaching staff at Charlestown alongside Mark Sherrill.  Amy is very excited to begin this third season with the Pirate cheerleaders.
